<p>Chappiel’s earliest dated book is from 1500.
The <i>Inventaire chronlogique</i> records dated books in 1502, 1503 and 1504.
The Hours catalogued here use the woodcuts and borders of [[Gillet Hardouyn]].
The colophon of the Gerson (1504) suggests that Chappiel owned his own types:
''opera Anthonii chappiel testes sunt caracteres'' (printed by Antoine Chappiel, as the types bear witness).</p>
